new found freedom!

Elizabeth finally started crawling on friday night and now there is no stopping her. We always want our kids to hit the milestones at the right time but this may be one that we should be grateful that it came a little late. Now I have to keep my house picked up at all times. Yeah, as if that happens. She is in Heaven being able to get around and she thinks she rules. Which she pretty much does but we won't tell her. Her two top teeth finally broke through on Thursday and boy are we glad that was a long painful (for her and us) teething process.

Homeade Fries

Kymbal and I decided that we wanted to try to make homeade french fries. It was really fun and HEALTHY! LOL Even Elizabeth enjoyed a fry. They turned out a little soggy any suggestions for nice crispy fries?

Warning Do Not go near Stayce!

We made it through this week! Yeah! You may be wondering why was this week so hard. Well my poor family had to put up with me all week. That was not an easy thing. I just keep hoping and praying that when we get to Heaven we are not judged on the week that we have our friend Tina visit (otherwise known as PMS) Or for that matter the week before and the week after. I don't think we will since obviously we aren't usually this grumpy. I probably shouldn't openly admit this put just incase you happened to cross my path this week you may want to earase the memory and try it again. LOL Sorry for any poor soul who did. Maybe I should call a DR. and get on some medicine for a week every month or maybe I should make it 2 or 3. Well maybe I should just stay on it the whole month. Good thing I have a good family that sticks with me through thick and thin and tina.

Applesauce!

We had a great day today! Chanse took the day off and the girls didn't have school. So we got up and started picking apples from our tree. we still have most of the red apple tree to pick. we went over to our friends the Nelson's and made really yummy apple sauce. We made 32 jars today and only used about a fourth of the apples. The girls were so helpfull, and we couldn't have done it without the Nelson's. They have three boys that came to help pick. We will finish on monday!

Renting a room at the Pediatricians office!

Poor little Elizabeth has had a very rough couple of weeks! Two weeks ago we took her in to the doctors office, and found out she had a sinus infection. Then last week we took her in again cause she wasn't feeling well and she wasn't eating. This time Ear infection! Today she woke up with red dots on the back of her neck. I thought she got mosquito bites at the ward FHE night. So I went to show Chanse and realized the red dots were all over her body! So once again we were on the way to the Peds office. Worried that the rash was infectious the peds office didn't want us to come in so we waited in the car. They came out and determined that it wasn't chicken pox and we could come in. So to make a long story even longer, The Dr. determined that it was a very bad allergic reaction either to her ammoxicilian or the watermelon she had at FHE. We gave her the ammoxicilian in the doctors office so that they could keep an eye on her for a little bit. The receptionist said if you had her all dressed we wouldn't even know anything was wrong with her! She is such a happy little thing! We didn't see any huge changes so we gave her some benedryl and came home. I dooo have to tell you that she is brilliant though. She went poopoo on the toilet today! What a big girl! It is easy to get a completely naked baby on the toilet in time when she gives such obvious signs of potty! (such as red face) Well all this and she is cutting two teeth but she is still happy most of the time!
And after all this, STILL a smile on her face!

Kymbal's first day of school!

Feeling so big for the first day of kindergarten. She was so excited to go to school in her cute new clothes that she got to go pick out with Grandma. She thought she was all that when she got to go with grandma and pick out her own clothes, and she was!

Cute little school girls!

I am not sure who was more excited Savannah or Kymbal. Savannah was so excited for Kymbal to experience Kindergarten she could hardly stand it. Savannah had a great kindergarten year. I am sure Kymbal will too. Kymbal has been looking forward to being in the same school class as her friend for the last 6 months. Luckily for us they got in the same class or we would have been in trouble.
She made it through the first day! She made new friends and has a great teacher. It should be a great year.

She found her friends, and she is just as happy as can be. So the kids are all over having a great time and the moms are all trying to keep the tears in. It is a great sight to see. I actually didn't have to much trouble until the next day when Savannah and Kymbal walked alone from the street to class. I sat at the top of the hill and watched them walk hand in hand to the kindergarten door. I was so proud of them being so independant but at the same time so sad that they didn't need me. I just wanted to carry them to class give them a big kiss and then hold them during class like I used to when they were little. I really am not this sappy but I just love my little sweeties. They are loving school and I am proud of both of them.

Isn't she beautiful? My sweet little baby all tired out from the first Day!

Sad day for mom!

Well it's that time again! The dreaded part of the year. When the kids all go back to school. I know I should enjoy it and love it! After all that is the reason that I actually have five minutes to update my blog, but I don't, I just miss the summertime fun we have. My little sweeties are growing up and there is nothing I can do about it! Kymbal got up this morning and got already for school on time too, but she doesn't start until next monday. This week is good practice for all of us to be ready on time. The girls both got new teachers we met them on Friday and they both seem like they will be wonderful teachers. The girls will love school this year I am sure!

Visiting Grandma Elli!

After We woke-up on Saturday morning we went to visit Grandma Elli. She loves the girls. She is such a wonderful Grandma. We are lucky to have such wonderful Grandparents.

Friends and Food! Does it get any better!

On Friday we met the Sadlers, our friends from Logan, for dinner at the Mayan! The girls all had a great time.

Kymbal Loves to Help

Kymbal is such a happy helper. She loves to organize things. If I ask her to do a chore that she normally doesn't do because it is a mommy job she is in heaven. What a cutie!

Elizabeth sits up!

I tried to post this on July 23, when she sat up by herself for the first time but it didn't work. I am finally getting back to it and hopefully I won't have any more problems.

Elizabeth laughing

You will have to click pause on the music at the bottom of the page in order to hear this one. Savannah and Kymbal discovered that Elizabeth would totally crack up if the blew bubbles with their gum. We had to record it and share because it was so cute!

Fun at the lake!

About a week ago our friends the Marquiss' invited us to go with them on their boat to Deer lake. We had a great time. Chanse had an awsome crash on the wake board. He had fun skiing and  then we had a great dinner and then more fun!

Savannah and Kymbal got to go for a ride in the tube and had a blast until the sun went down. While the adults got to sit in the boat and hear each other. Fun! Fun! trip. Thanks Marquiss'

Jay let kymbal steer the boat all by herself. So she had a great time doing that thinking she was amazing!
Savannah had fun being the flag girl!

Elizabeth would stop crying the second that the boat started to go! But she wasn't really fond of the life jacket.
