Is Secondary Water Really Worth It?

Chanse spent all day working on our secondary water hook-up. What a fun job! With only five trips to Ace, only two trips above our goal of three. It wouldn't have been so long and hard but we had to trench underneath our sidewalk. That is why we are so muddy. After about 3 hours of trying to get it and being unsuccessful, I stuck my hand in the side below where I am standing, and grabbed the pvc pipe and slowly pulled, pushed and dug it out to the other side. Well we sure hope that all that will be worth it in the end. I'm sure it will be. Special thanks to our friendly neighbors who helped entertain Elizabeth, and my mom and sister for having our other two girls or I am quite sure we would be doing the same thing on monday!

Isn't My "Baby" Beautiful!

Savannah was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Saturday, March 28th 2009. We are so proud of her. Savannah is such a sweet girl. She is always trying to do what is right and trying to make everyone happy. She looked beautiful at her baptism in her white dress. She shared her special day with a lot of special people. She had Grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and lots of friends. We are so lucky to have such great friends and family. Savannah was able to be baptized with one of her good friends Katie Borget. They each got to pick a song, a prayer and a talk Savannah asked her Grandpa Jim to say the prayer and her Uncle Vern to give the talk on the Holy Ghost. They both did a fantastic job. She chose the songs together with Katie. They chose to sing "When I am Baptized" and "Baptism". She was baptized and confirmed by her Dad. We had a great time with family after the baptism at our house. Special Thanks to all those that helped out that day and made this day extra special. WE LOVE YOU SAVANNAH!

Sweet Kymbal

This is Kymbal in her one hundred's day hat! It is a hat that they make for the one hundreth day of school. All the kids get a hat made of newspaper and they all go home and decorate it with one hundred things. Kymbal chose pipe cleaners. Flower shaped pipe cleaners. (My fingers were so sore by the time we got them all on the hat)
But the real reason I am writing today is I wanted to share how cute and sweet my stinker girl has become. Today after a long walk to pass out fliers, Kymbal came home and sat down to watch some cartoons. I came in and told her that I had to go pick up the kids from school. She sat there for a minute and then said "Hey mom what is my ask mom today?" I gave her a few options and headed out the door. I was outside for just a couple of minutes getting ready to go when I realized I forgot a bag that I needed. So I ran back in side to get it to find Kymbal already half way done with her ask mom. She had chosen the hardest one and was working diligently to finish before I got home. She also helped me make our dinner tonight with out any complaining. She is so SWEET!

Kymbal's Birthday! (a month and a half late)

Grandma Becky came down early for Kymbal's birthday to help with her birthday cake. It is a good thing cause by the time I got the barbie in the cake I'd had enough. The cake took for ever to bake in the silver bowl, then it was way to short for the barbie. So I made another round cake but it was still to short. So I cut a hole in the box that it was sitting on and tried to push her legs through but they kept popping out the bottom of the dress. annoying, but it was worth it to see the look on Kymbal's face when we pulled it out to frost it. She had a fun birthday and I am sure she will always remember decorating her cake with Grandma!

ELIZABETH IS ONE!

Friday was Elizabeth's First birthday!
Where has time gone it seems like just yesturday when I went to my check-up and they said "Head over to the hospital right now we have got to get this baby here. And so her sweet life began. She came on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 5:27 p.m. She weighed 5lbs. 10oz. She was 17 1/2 inches long. She was the 80th baby born in the American Fork Hospital that year. Her first year started out a little rough with a return to the hospital after only 19 days of life. She came down with rsv and had to be life flighted to primary children's in Salt Lake. She stayed there for 6 days. We brought her home on a snowy Sunday. It was one of the most amazing feelings I have ever had. To come home to so many loving and supportive friends. After her hospital stay I was a little perinoid to say the least. But we made it. She was also just a little spoiled Ok alot spoiled all I did all day was hold her. We had a fun summer. We played at the park a lot, went to a few family reunions and went swimming for the first time. She was a little slow at getting the crawling thing done but had no trouble getting the concept of eating solids. She love to eat. Just like her mom. To bad it isn't as cute when I have cellulite! At the end of the summer she got an awful case of hives. That was another long week, but again we made it and again she was a touch spoiled. In August I started babysitting her friend Bruce so she has had a permanent friend since then. She liked playing with her Texas friend, Sophi, during the Christmas break. She loved her doggie book that she got at Christmas from her sisters, but other than that she wasn't to interested. We learned from that and only got her animal stuff for her birthday. She was much happier. She loves dogs, books, food and talking. She has always been so easy, with the exception of the few sickness that she has had. Thank you to all those that came to her birthday to share that special day celebrating the life of our sweet Elizabeth.

Classic Christmas moment

We had a great Christmas this year thanks to all of our great friends and wonderful family. We loved hearing from old friends, playing with all friends and hanging out with family. For Christmas eve we just hung out together. We took Savannah, Kymbal and Elizabeth shopping for the gift that they give each other. Then we went out to lunch together. We basically had the place to ourselves. It was so fun we may have to keep it as a tradition. We got to spend lots of time playing and having fun with the Steed's our friends from Texas. But the funnest part was watching the girls have fun and be grateful for what they got. The classic moment however was Kymbal opening her present from Grandma Pam. We were all excited because we knew what it was, but you have to see Kymbal's reaction, it is truly classic.
